Welcome 2011

Welcome 2011...

Every new year starts with lot of fanfare and celebrations around the world. But i think I like to have it with a small group of my friends in a scenic place or let say away from the city crowd.
When thinking about 2010 its was also just another year passing by , only thing is my age as gone up by 1 in the records. A lot of changes happened in my home town and country and I am watching it though this telescope called internet. Office life was same but some of my collegues have changed job for good.
My plans to attend the new year party was spoiled because i fell sick. So I think this year shall be a better one for me. hehe..

Wishing everyone health, joy and prosperity this year..

Changing times

I had came acroos this website since long and felt it different and good for youth. Its http://www.kochivibes.com/. Its gives info about events and other interesting happenings in Kochi, my town in Kerala. Its a metro city but without any nightlife. The streets are crowded in the day time but by 8 pm the streets are deserted.

I saw a Ad in kochi vibes which was inviting people to a DJ nite at some hotel.. It was showing its free entry for couples.. hehe.. I think no where in world it happens. The reason is the organisers want girls to come in.

When we realise we are getting old?

That's an interesting question which I have asked myself. But an article in the newspaper last day made me think about it. It was about an writer who died an year ago. He was a excelleent screen play writer. He had a lot of movies from his pen and people will always remember him.
So the author of the article was writing that " we realise that we are getting old when we find our loved ones are no more with us".

Meeting Korean Farmers

This weekend was sunny and warm. I went out with friends for a drive into the nearby village. On the way it was rich greenery, so we thought to get out of the car and walk a bit. We saw some old farmers planting in their rice field. I ran back to the car to take the camera. We went near them and try to chit chat . They were busy and seemed not interested to chat. May be they thought we didnt know how to speak Korea. So I stared to say "Hi" in Korean and the guy who was outside the field supervising the work turned to us.

Soon he was explaining a lot about the methods of agriculture. Oooops .. i didnnt understand the major part of it but i stood their just nodding my head. My friend with me started asking questions to me but I was more into confusion.

Soon we packed up from there to out car. I didnt foget to take some pics of those farmers. They were really old but salute to thier spirit of working.

Hats of to you!!! Sugo Hasipshiyo...

2012 - The Dooms Day

I must write something about this movie. This was not such an extra ordianry movie for me as movies with same theme was released recently. But surely the crew had done some great work

behind the scenes. The poster of the movie is a great and awesome one. Its shows a buddhist monk looking at a Tsunami hitting on to Mt. Everest which is now supposed to be the highest point on earth.

TGIF

This is also an expression i came to know after coming to Korea. Really this week was too tough for me. Morning to evening work. I ahd to go out to sub contractors place for inspection and only come back in evening . Seems next week also is same. Especially today was really hard work. I am really tired. But here its winter now. There is nothing much to do after work. So most of my times i spend on work. Ah .. I bought a new HP mini computer last day. Its cute .. and am custominsing it these days.

Days and weeks are passing so fast. And am like a ROBOT.
